any book recommendations that are like wind breaker the anime.

I always like the tropes where the male protagonist starts off alone and slowly starts building new friendships like found family. I would really love to read a book that starts of with the male mc being very closed of then eventually gaining his friends that show him that he doesn't have to be alone. Something with action like wind breaker if possible.
