Looking for a book like Crimson Skies and Sky Captain

I am looking for a book like the video game Crimson Skies or the movie Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Airplanes, futuristic history, etc… Preferably mild on the language/adult themes. Just looking for fun adventure. Any ideas?
