Hello, I’m a cis woman but I have a lot of trans friends and I sometimes feel like while I know what their experience is like, I don’t really understand. I’m a firm believer that fiction can help bridge that understanding gap and take people from just knowing something to really understanding it, and I’m looking for books that can bridge this gap for the trans experience. I’m looking mainly for fiction, but am open to non-fiction as well!
Here’s some books I’ve already read that are somewhat related:
Pageboy, Elliot Page
Chlorine, Jade Song (I’m not sure if this really counts, but I’ve seen some people view this as an allegory for the trans experience)
He / She / They, Schuyler Bailar
