I'll be going to a beach house for a week this summer, and I'd like to have a book with me to do some quiet reading in the evenings. Would love to hear your suggestions!
Some contextual info about me:
I'm 31 years old, heterosexual.
Mainly interested in fiction
In the past I've enjoyed books like the Reacher series by Lee child, as well as mystery novels.
I recently read Aurora, which is a slightly apocalyptic one about the country losing all power, etc.
I'm not hugely into romance novels.
Mystery and suspense are I think the top 2 I have in my mind, but I'll gladly take a look at anything suggested here.
