Im watching a podcast now about Warren Jeffs and it called to mind the many films i have seen with a similar premise of crime in the midst of a fundamentalist religious setting, Robert Egger’s “the witch” is one of my all time favorite movies, and one of my favorite pulp novels “until proven guilty” (j.a jance) had a similar premise of a crime occurring within a cult in Washington state.
Im wondering if anyone could recommend a novel exploring a crime or series of crimes within a cult or fundamentalist setting?
