Hi! I am about to start reading A Little Life. I’ve bought it recently and I’ve been preparing to read it. I never annotate a book when I read, I prefer to focus on the story and the book itself rather than analyzing it and thinking about it, it makes me lose concentration. BUT, I’ve seen that in this particular case, a lot of people do annotate. And I wanted to ask anyone who has read it already if I should try doing it or just sticking to my usual style. I’ve read that it’s a heavy and slow book at first, but maybe I’m worrying too much?
