Please help me find a book like Red Dead Redemption 2 specifically.
The Red Dead story in general is a devastating tragedy but I like the RDR2 story specifically for its story arch, the ensemble cast, and the potential (no pun intended) redemption of the main character Arthur.
I would check out Cormac McCarthy! Blood Meridian is his best known book (and RDR2 references it) but All the Pretty Horses is probably more approachable.

The Lonesome Dove books by Larry McMurtry, I read Lonesome Dove and the first book, Dead Mans Walk, and they are very good.
