It’s mentioned a lot but…Count of Monte Cristo. I read it in a week and gave myself headaches reading so much. It’s more than a revenge story, the intertwining plots, side quests, and characters make it so worth it in the end. Cannot recommend enough, I still think about it.

Honestly, The Body Keeps the Score. This book wrecked me. I will never look at people and life and human behavior the same again. I think about it regularly in my line of work, when interacting with family and friends, during therapy and in reflection of my own day-to-day actions.
