My mother is the youngest of 10 and all her family members have passed on except her brother with developmental disabilities who she suddenly became a caregiver. She is seriously struggling with loss – loss of family members in addition to her freedom now be tasked as a caregiver at 70.
Any one have a suggestion as she navigates through this time in her life? I'm hoping for a book to see this isn't the end and there is still things too look forward to.
Just a note we all try to offer help, but she is sort of wallowing and shutting off from us. I feel like she's resigning to the thought her life is over.
Thank you in advance.
