Hey folks, title is pretty self explanatory, I'm looking to find a book of essays that's a good read at the end of the day / at bedtime, that's engaging but doesn't take you into anything too dark.
I've really enjoyed much of Chuck Klosterman. Have heard good things about David Sedaris but haven't read much of his.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Paris to the Moon, Adam Gopnik. North American couple lives in Paris with two primary school age children (1990’s I think)
Bill Bryson. Not exactly essays, perhaps, but always pleasant reading
