I am looking for any book that exhibits a primarily fantasy world in which the main protagonist uses modern knowledge to get ahead of the competition in ingenious or creative ways. this can be through a number of different ways (for instance Daniel Black creates a magical flamethrower for his guards in Daniel Black among other things or Alexander manufactures a runic gun in Portal to Nova Roma among other things). I would also heavily prefer if the novel has politics and a technological gap that the MC utilizes instead of is-just-kind-of-there. More than a couple of books in the series is also a massive bonus.
The basic outline is as follows: Main Character is inserted into a fantasy world (portal, isekai, VR, etc.) Main Character has some sort of advanced knowledge (Modern Knowledge, engineering knowledge, chemist, powerful to weak, biologically engineered, etc.), Main Character deals with different polities because of their power (politics, intrigue, kingdom building, base building, etc.).
