I have been reading thriller and horror books but never fantasy. Now im kinda getting bored of the whodunit books. Its always the same and im getting kinda bored of reading the same format of story over and over again.
I have been trying to get into fantasy books because i want to read the stormloght archive by Brandon Sanderson. But i feel like i have to 'earn' that book series by first getting used to the fantasy genre.
What would be a good book to start with and why? All suggestions are welcome!
Note: Since i am coming from thriller and horror books, i would like to keep it kind of the same theme.
