I was looking for a good classic/gothic book. I mean like Interview with a vampire, Dracula, Frankenstein, Dorian Gray (also an author the I found recently -Andrew Pyper- but I wanted an old classic, really). The thing is, I really hate letter style books, they just feel boring and monotone, and it feels like most of this genre are that way.
Second thing: I'm looking for a good steampunk book, not Julio Verne style, but something more horror-ish/goth-ish steampunk, I tried reading The Difference Engine, but I found the first page very complex to comprehend (also, English is not my first languange, so nothing too complicated please)
Any recommendations that you guys can give is well appreciated!
