Hi there – My 8-year-old niece has been reading (and listening to) a lot of Nancy Drew books. She loves them, but my brother wants her to expand her horizons (ideally with some historical fiction). She likes female leads and mystery, although pretty open on the genre. We've read Boxcar Children and Little House; I want to get her going on Anne of Green Gables. Would love any other recs, thank you!
