I went to a dropout factory high school so we didn’t really have to read any of the books (I genuinely only remember three books from high school, Lord of the Flies, Great Gatsby, and Their Eyes Were Watching God). I feel like I was cheated out of all the high school classics because I just lived in a crummy school district, so I’m trying to read them now in my 30s!
I just read Animal Farm and LOVED IT.

You have so many good books ahead of you 🙂
Here’s a few of my faves: Heart of Darkness, 1984, Beloved, Things Fall Apart, O Pioneers!, I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
To Kill a Mockingbird
As I Lay Dying
Pride and Prejudice
Catch-22 (I actually didn’t like this one, but that’s more to do with personal preference because I do think it’s a well written book just not one I liked)
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Night by Ellie Wiesel
