Is there Native American-themed science fiction out there (where perhaps Cahokia or Tenochtitlan are imagined as bustling modern metropolises complete with spaceports)?
Ideally, I would also prefer something with a Native American author, but authors from other backgrounds are fine too.
I remember seeing a graphic novel called Earthdivers which is about a bunch of people who travel back in time to kill Christopher Columbus.

Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse. It’s more post apocalyptic than futuristic though

Interesting: I have read a lot of science fiction and I cannot remember a single Native American character, not even in “Space Westerns” like *Firefly*.

If not, there should be.
