I could probably write better novels if all I had to do is brainstorm ideas and then use a cheat code to turn my brain into a super intelligent LLM that scales infinitely with infinite tokens to generate a book, because I read all the ones that won major awards and I didn't see anything original in any of them, it's the same recycled crap that keeps recycling itself and not a shining beacon of pure creativity.

Soft Machine trilogy by William Burroughs is pretty unique, even compared to Junky and Naked Lunch.
I really liked “Kill the farm boy”, it was very creatively stupid.
Outside of the Bible, Odyssey, Iliad, etc books written 2000 years ago, Ulysses and Don Quixote are probably the most inventive in terms of the pure mass of original ideas/techniques they employed.
For contemporary books, try Septology by Jon Fosse
