Give me a book that will pull the rug out from under me, flip the lights off, and leave me sitting in the dark whispering “…what just happened?”
I’m talking mind-melting plot twists. The kind of book where you think you’ve got it all figured out, then suddenly you’re emotionally spiraling and questioning every narrative you’ve ever trusted. I want to gasp out loud. I want to reread entire chapters to catch the clues I missed. I want to finish the book and sit in stunned silence, contemplating life, the universe, and whether I should start a conspiracy board on my wall.
Bonus points if the twist hits late in the game, but I’ll take any genre as long as the payoff is wild. Hit me with your best chaos.
