I'm in the early stages of getting to know someone. We both like reading and are about to finish a couples therapy book. Each week we'd go through 1-2 chapters and discuss. I'm glad we chose that as our first read.

US by Terrance Real (best couples therapy book I've read so far, out of like 6-7).

I'm looking for inspiration for our next book. I'm open to fiction, hoping there's a story out there that in your opinion, while discussing with someone would help reveal their true self to you in some way?

Like a story so compelling and intricate that would somehow compel the person reading to identify aspects or traits of the characters that would bring their deepest values to light?

lol I think I might sound crazy or at least have insanely unrealistic expectations.

    Anyways, shot in the dark.

    Any suggestions appreciated!

Was just recommended this today by my therapist, so haven’t read it yet, but was told it is really great
