Hello everyone, I’m struggling to process the grief of my grandmother’s recent passing. While we weren’t extremely close, I deeply admired the person she was, and her absence feels heavier than I expected. It’s only been a few months, so I’m not yet considering professional help, but I’d love to read something that might help me sit with these emotions.
Could you suggest a book that guided you through grief? I’m open to novels, essays, poetry, or memoirs—anything that felt like a companion in your own process. I tend to love light prose and accessible writing (Mario Benedetti’s poems have resonated with me before). I’ve also considered* Man’s Search for Meaning *by Viktor Frankl—might this be a good fit?
