New reader book suggestions

I am a beginner to reading.I am planning to make reading a habit and I want to start small.I need books with simple English and less number of pages(that gives me a sense of accomplishment when I am done reading a book).I am a 34F. Suggest me good fiction books.I like feel good, emotional and crime genres.TIA
