Looking for a fun and interesting Appalachian trail memoir

I'm going on a trip to Shenandoah soon and I'm looking for a book to read. I figured that since the Appalachian trail goes through the park, it might make for a good topic to read about. Searching it myself, there are many options and I don't know which one to pick! I'd like it to be a memoir about hiking the trail by a regular person (not looking for someone with an deeply inspiring story necessarily). Ideally the author is female just so I have a better time relating, though not necessary. For reference, I loved the book "Almost Somewhere."
