Post-apocalyptic fiction has been my favorite subject to read since I read Earth Abides in high school. It's a topic that transcends genre – Literary fiction, horror, science fiction, political fiction, and romance all have these kinds of stories. I'd like to hear what your favorite books that you would call "post-apocalyptic" are, and what genre would they be stored under? Below are some examples of ones I've read and where I would normally find them in the bookstore.
Earth Abides by George R Stewart (scifi or literary fiction)
The Stand by Stephen King (horror)
Wayward and Wanderers by Chuck Wendig (scifi)
The Living Dead by George Romero and Daniel Krauss (horror)
The Deluge by Stephen Markley (fiction)
The Silo Series by Hugh Howey (sci fi)
Blindness/Seeing by Jose Saramago (horror or literary fiction)
The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham (scifi)

I’ll check out your list thanks. Z for Zachariah is an old one.
My very favorite is The Passage trilogy by Justin Cronin. If you liked King and Howey, this would be a great read.
On the Beach was a fairly chilling read. Not sure that’s really quite post apocalyptic, more apocalyptic I guess.
The Road by Cormac Macarthy – fiction/suspense
The Remaining/Lee Harden series by DJ Molles – horror/mil-sim
Helldivers by Nicholas Sansbury Smith – sci-fi/horror
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Diniman – sci-fi/fantasy/comedy/LitRPG
