I think my favorite book is Piranesi. Apart from the beautifully mysterious world it is set in, I love the perspective of the main character. It feels so innocent, but not simply child-like. It’s the way the simple things around him are filled with magic, maybe like he’s on a psychedelic trip. The world feels so imbued with mythos and meaning simply through the way the character describes everything.
