Hi gang. Looking for a page-turner for a kid currently in behavioral therapy for severe depression and s*****e attempt. He liked Ready Player One, and the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. I would love something with a hopeful, satisfying conclusion.

The Hobbit is a classic. Or The Percy Jackson books are a lot of fun with some more mature stuff thrown in.
DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL
It’s SO good.
City of Thieves by David Benioff
I’ve had many reluctant readers over the years. This book never fails.
Holes

Trigger by Susan Vaught.
The Hobbit
Hatchet by Gary Paulsen (it’s been a minute since I read this but it should be fine) the main character is 13 years old.
*The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy* (and sequels) by Douglas Adams
The queens thief by Megan Wallen Turner!
The first book is great for a teenage boy
Gregor the Overlander Series (The Underland Chronicles) by Suzanne Collins – seriously trust me on this. I read these as a teen, am now 30 years old, and I STILL have these books on my shelves.
