So I read this book few years back. I dont remember anything except that the heroine is arrested and before she has to put on ankle monitor, she takes some medicines that makes her legs swollen and then after the swelling goes down, she removes the ankle monitor and escapes.

That’s sooo vague! But it kinda reminds me of scenarios like in Fever by Joan Swan, where characters go to great lengths to escape confinement ?
