Suggest Me A Book About People With Supernatural Abilities, Set In The Modern World

Hey everyone! This is my first time positing on here and I was so unaware such a cool subreddit existed! Anyways, I just finished the video game Life Is Strange, which for those unaware, is centred around a girl with time travel abilites solving a mystery. I loved loved loved the use of superpowers used in the real world, and I recently finished my last book and would love a new one with similar vibes to the game. So yeah, if anyone knows any good books with superpowers in the modern world, I would be very interested. Bonus points if its set in a small town (Never been a fan of the secret society trope. Don't get me wrong its great, I'm just a sucker for places that remind me of where I grew up. Places that feel real you know?)
