Hey everyone! I'm a college athlete who's trying to get into reading more, and I'm looking for some book recommendations. I'm especially interested in self-improvement — anything related to mindset, psychology, or finances that could help me both in my sport and in life overall. I’d really appreciate any suggestions!

the inner game of tennis by timothy galway is a great sports psych book; broadly applicable to much much more than tennis (in sports and life in general).
i also really enjoyed golf is not a game of perfect by bob rotella. more anecdote based but still very insightful and broadly applicable to anyone looking to get better at doing anything.
i think it’s also worth noting that i don’t play tennis or golf.
if you want a fiction book that will also make you a better person, check out The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway; it’s quite short and gives a beautiful example of how to be an awesome person. a treatise to perseverance.
Captain Class – Sam Walker. Fun book on the different strategies that the most winningest teams employ and how they all relate and differ. You’d think the top players on top teams would be the best leaders, but that’s not always the case with these teams.
