I wanna bring back the spark I once had for reading. Ever since I was a kid, I loved to read books (tho mostly Fiction). However, my passion for reading gradually faded, probably because of cellphones and social media (I tend to use them too much). But now, I wanna read AGAIN! And I wanna rediscover the experience of reading books and immersing myself in diverse worlds and characters that my mind brings to life.
If you have books that you could suggest comment them down, as well as why you loved that book and I'll make it a goal to finish all of them within the year 🫶🏼🫶🏼
I'm into Fantasy, Romance, Crime, Thriller, Suspense, Horror (but I'm also open to reading any type of book you wanna suggest)

*The Magical Age of Overthinking: Notes on Modern Irrationality* by Amanda Montell. It’s nonfiction, but it’s very accessible and not a slog to get through. I prefer the audio book as it’s read by the author.
All 9 First Law books by Joe Abercrombie.
Go in blind.
Also the audiobooks are perfect in every way.
Please share what type of movies or television or video games you enjoy.
Example do you love or hate horror? There are many different types of books
Fairy Tale by Stephen King – I loved it because of the worldbuilding, and how in depth the characters were written. Also, I loved escaping into it during late nights and reading about this magical fantasy world and the dog that needed saving
It is my personal opinion that nothing rekindles love for reading than rereading an old favorite. For me that would be Harry Potter, but I’ll go a little more abstract. What was your favorite book when you were younger? Pick it back up and read it again now you haven’t touched it for a few years; it’s amazing how much fun it is to relive a favorite story. ❤️
Mystery: The Broken Girls by Simone St. James
Magical Realism: The Unmaking of June Farrow
Contemporary Fiction: The Wedding People
YA/ Mystery: The Agathas
These are 4 of my favorites!!!
