I was reading a post summarizing a recent publication about how gravity may be evidence of the universe’s attempt to reduce entropy, and how that could point to the universe being a simulation. Though I’m not sure I necessarily believe that, it seems like a very interesting theory to explore for fun! Can anyone recommend a book that explores this topic in somewhat layman’s terms? I don’t mind some technical depth but I don’t really want to wade through a book of proofs. I’m open to compelling fiction around this topic, as well (think technical depth akin to The Martian).
