Hi everyone,
I find myself wanting to read a story about a private investigator that's set in a pre digital era, maybe around the 1960s and that is full of clichés:
the PI battling his own demons, serious caffeine addiction, a run down office somewhere in the rear building, hitting the pavement rather than online research, a certain slang that as a non native speaker I cannot really describe (like someone who has seen and heard it all and isn't moved by anything).
Any recommendations?
