What do you guys think of it? I was suggested to read The Pillars of the Earth (as some of my favorite books are The Stand, Shogun, Lonesome Dove), and I am now seeing that it’s part of a 4-book series. Do they all hold up to their 4+ star ratings?

Pillars of the Earth is head and shoulders above the other ones. They’re all quite good but after the first book the same character archetypes tend to get repeated. I won’t spoil specifics but there’s a novelty the first time that wears off as you read more books in the series
