He is someone that “doesn’t read”, but is wanting to make life changes. I suggested to try reading again because it would give an alternative to screen time and I think he underestimates the entertainment value in books. He truly doesn’t drink much anymore but is wanting to not drink at all due to feeling hungover after just 2, and getting almost depressed the days after too. So rediscovering himself as a sober person basically.
He enjoys fishing, golf, and watching baseball. Biographies may be a good choice? Maybe something that can have a positive effect on him? Not self help but like an inspiring true story. Something masculine would be good even like a war story or something Wild West. He would probably enjoy a fast moving fantasy novel. Please help!
