I recently finished this novel by Iain M. Banks and it was my introduction to his work. And I gotta say, it was great. I'm not all too familiar with the Sci-Fi genre when it comes to books, but this one definitely peaked my interest. Are there any others that yall would recommend from him, or just any books from other authors that I might like based off the vibe of the book?

Read all the Culture books, as they’re each fab in their own way.. kinda dark, but also infused with dry humour. My favs are probably *Use of Weapons*, or *Consider Phlebas*.
Outside of the Culture, *Transition*, and *Feersum Endjinn* are a lot of fun. And if you feel like trying his non sci fi stuff, drop the M initial, and try *The Wasp Factory* (disturbing/weird but kinda interesting because of it), or *The Quarry*. The only book of his I’ve read so far and would not recommend is *A Song of Stone* (I found it really hard going)
