recommendations for a soul crushing, life changing book?
i’m in search of a book that is a page turner, hooks you in, and crushes your soul. I need a book that makes me FEEEL something. i’m obviously okay with heavier topics, but prefer to stay away from child loss/pregnancy loss
Letters from the Underground is sometimes said to be a “life saver” for guys in their 20s. I started reading it a bit ago. Dostoevsky in general is very good at slapping you upside the face and telling you to take a personal inventory. I will rarely pass up an opportunity to recommend him.
