Basically what the title says! Preferably no young adult/teenage books & no urban fantasy.
The yearning is a must! I need romantic tension that makes my heart melt. The love story doesn't even have to take a big place in the plot, it just should be well written.

Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier (check content warnings if you have subjects you avoid, though)
A dark and drowning tide….I dont gravitate towards romance and I get annoyed at enemies to lovers because they never commit to them being enemies for good reason or get rid of it too quickly….oh my GOSH I was white knuckling that book.
