I want to get back into reading, what are your recommendations?

So, basically where do I start? I used to be an avid reader many years ago and I want to get back into it. Free online book recommendations would be appreciated also. So, I assume my favorite movie/tv show genres would be a good start when looking for books . My favorite genre of movies/TV shows are horror, sci-fi and mystery. Any other genre is okay. Not the biggest fan of romance, but I do enjoy cheesy kdramas occasionally. I prefer the enemies to lovers or forbidden love tropes when it comes to romance. Not a fan of the other romance tropes.
