I used to read a lot as a child and teenager, I was at the library every week requesting books, queuing up for Harry Potter at midnight etc. I read loads of classics (Wuthering Heights etc) when I was around 14/15. I stopped towards the end of high school when I had exams, then I was in uni for 8 years, I had to read a lot of tedious research papers (science) and I just didn't want to read in my spare time too. Then I had babies (youngest is almost 1) and it's just something I have never picked up again.
The last book I read was probably the third Game of Thrones books just after season 1 came out. Every time I have tried to pick up a book since then (usually fantasy as that's familiar) I get so bored and distracted. I read a page and immediately forget what I just read.
I want to enjoy reading again but I have no idea what I like now. I'm looking for a really good suggestion, something that will get me back into it.
I used to watch loads of true crime but I'm super sensitive since having kids and can't handle anything too scary/gruesome, especially if it involves children or young adults. Something where I always want to know what happens next. Nothing too difficult to read or that I need to think about too hard as I have young kids and will need to stop and start often. An easy read. I'm quite depressed just now so if it's happy/feel good that might be nice.

Man called Ove
Pilgrimage of Harold Fry
Some of my favorite lighthearted reads, perfect to get anyone out of a reading slump. All the best.
