I adore the Temperance Brennan series by Kathy Reichs and would love to know some more authors with a similar science-heavy style. I find it particularly interesting as a forensic biology major myself and love the in-depth analysis and discussion mixed throughout the fiction and drama. I have also read and enjoyed "The Bones of Avignon" by Jefferson Bass for context.
Also, how would one compare Patricia Cornwell? I have been recommended her books a lot too but have not actually opened one yet.
