I love historical fiction that spans multiple generations within a family, and which shows the impact of political upheaval on people's lives across time. I've recently enjoyed Pachinko and The Island of Sea Women, which both helped me understand the impact of the Korean War.
I would like to read something similar to deepen my understanding of Palestinian history, ideally starting before 1948, with details about the nakba and the history of the PLO, and including the perspectives of women. I'd also like a book written by a Palestinian author.
Thanks!
