I’ve hit a snag with reading. It’s either the authors suck at
1. World creation,
2. Descriptive sexy time,
3. Writing doesn’t have a rhythm,
4. Women are late teenagers with mentality of a 40 year old which is complete cockamamie,
5 . Too ‘millennial-ly ‘ social media ( Instagram and the like) taking center stage. Those can be mentioned but not so ‘look look my writing features 20th century fuckery’ you know?
6. Not nuanced,
7. Long winded monotonous rubbish….
What I’ve enjoyed,
1. Kings of Italy by Mila Fineli- except Emma’s story ( her character was absurdly robotic & annoyingly scientific) . The newer stories reeks of rush & nothingness.
2. Corruption Trilogy by CD Reiss,
3. Twist Me & Tormentor Mine by Anna Zaires I did not care for Lucas’ story. Yuck.
4.Battaglia Mafia Series by Sienna Mix,
5. Samantha Young ,
6. TL Swan.
Can anyone recommend books that are well nuanced, extremely captivating, sexy, action packed . Something to knock me out good so the ghost of reading can renter my body?
No little girls please. I’m tired of the virgins & 18 year olds.
