We often hear phrases like "I wish I could be x years and change things", well is there any book where this actually happens? I don't think have ever seen this in media and would be a cool concept. The closest I have ever seen its on Shrek 4, where Shrek return to a previous moment in the movie after experiencing the whole movie and becomes a better person afterwards. However, that example was at the end of the movie and not plot.

Erased manga / anime; the main character goes back in time to elementary school age to try to stop the death of his classmate

In **The Perfect Run** series the mc is in a time loop. He sets a saving point, and then every time he dies he goes back to that moment. He uses his power to try again and again until achieving “the perfect run”, in which everything goes well for him and the people he cares about as well as most people he doesn’t know.
