I’ve been an avid reader since so was in middle school, and admittedly, a Wattpad girly. I’ve read many Wattpad books, but one stuck out to me called The Whore of Babylon. I don’t remember it being particularly popular, but it had a good amount of reads. It was truly gut wrenching and very well-written. There was also a werewolf book (don’t judge, just give me a chance) whose title I can’t remember for the life of me, but it was about an alpha that went to a different (pretty sure it was one set in the Middle East) pack and found his mate. Brought her back, but she finds out as soon as she arrives that he’s been getting down and dirty with his dead brother’s mate. I don’t do the writing justice, but that book was also gut wrenching and well-written. It was about her journey in a new pack and facing new challenges (often other members challenging her or her own struggles with her new mate). On the off chance that anyone here knows which book I’m talking about, or has read whore of Babylon, I reeeaaallllyyyyyy need recs for a heart wrenching book. Something with lots of angst, twists, possibly forbidden themes, or even some dark romance. I haven’t been able to find something that hits the spot like those two books did.
