I have a YA in my life who has expressed interest in reading, but she hasn't found the right book to hook her. I think she will have a real love for reading when she finds a relatable book.
She's a young black girl, a high school student. She's smart and driven. She just started dating her first boyfriend so she's navigating that and learning. She's learning to drive. Her family situation is a little complicated, but she is resilient.
Any suggestions based on those traits? Pretty please. 🩷
