Suggest me a book of short stories that can be read in one or two sittings that are similar to Black Mirror but dont have to be far in the future?
Looking for ironic twists, a bit of scifi, but no alien stuff, more human interaction and commentary on tech, afterlife, and/or time travel. A scifi Veronica Mars would be amazing as well…

I don’t have a specific collection in mind, but I think Philip K. Dick’s short stories might fit.
Also a fan of Black Mirror. You might try:
The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury or
Blood Child by Octavia Butler
Maybe The Seep by Chana Porter (it’s a novella)
