Ok I'll be honest. I didn't really had an idea on where to start with books so I bought myself cheap copies of Atomic Habits and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. This may sound like a confession because I have seen a lot of people hating on self-improvement books not only in this sub, but avid readers in general aren't really a fan of them.

Anyways. I am currently reading Atomic habits and it's pretty good, at least for me. I'll finish it and read the Subtle Art (it's much shorter). But I am making already making list of books that I really want to read now and this is what it looks like so FAR.

    1. Notes From Underground by Dostoevsky
    2. The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
    3. Crimes and Punishment by Dostoevsky
    4. The Alchemist by Paulo
    5. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
    6. Steal like an Artist by Austin Kleon
    7. A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bysons (seems like a really fun book)
    8. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
    9. Denial of Death by Ernest Becker
    10. 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene

This is my list so far. It's pretty basic I know. I would some recommendation. Maybe some hidden gems or a cult classic that I may not know. I would also like your opinions on my current list so far. I might make it a top 20 with y'all recommendations.
