Searching for book about subcultures (like Gyaru)

I‘d really love to read a book about the experiences of Gyaru in Japan, or maybe other similar subcultures. I’d like to read older books that actually portray these subcultures authentically and not just people with that style. It doesn‘t have to be Japan either, but Gyaru are just what made me think of searching for a book like that!
