Just finished this book, I devoured it in about 4 days.
I have such mixed feelings about it!
It was very easy to read and the prose/the way Walters writes is a joy to read.
On the other hand, her fatphobia is sickening and genuinely took me out of the book within the first page. This mean spirited approach to character description, and even it's influence on the plot, ruins what could be an incredible crime thriller.
I was desperate to know what happened, now I do, and I probably won't bother with any of her other books.
Has anyone else read this or experienced it with other writers?
