I was looking for a good fantasy to start and after founding so (so) many good reviews and grades about The Will of The Many, I decided to dive in.

A little spoiler from where I am in the book:

Vis and Ulciscor "plane" crashed out in the woods and the lady who was at his fights told Vis about her plans for him. He decided against and the "plane" is back again in the air.

I have a feeling that Stormlight Archives lead me to thing the intro for this book until now is… mediocre. I'm at the start, so can't criticize the character development, but the whole orphanage and previous felt very superficial.

Was not expecting to force my way into this book, considering all the high praises. Does anybody else had the same feeling? Also: is it worth pushing through?

    1. Yes, it picks up majorly! I had a similar experience, but found that it was worth pushing through the slower start

It doesn’t get that much better. Very much middling YA fantasy.

      I enjoyed it tho!
