I read 'A Silent Patient' recently and loved it, but it was a bit too short for me – any recs similar? I love psych thrillers, unreliable narrators, that kind of thing. I'm trying to find some longer books to read, though, so I'd love suggestions! ♡♡
(Please dont tell me to read 'Lolita' – it's not gonna happen. I only add this because I know it fits the genre and will no doubt be suggested. I'm sure it's amazing, it's not something I'm willing to read ♡)

I dont feel Lolita really met that particular criteria, but definitely dont waste your time. The narrator was a blatant pedophile (I reckon thats the point) who whined too much. I felt the whole book was more “woe is me” and not much of an interesting psychological unravel. Just my opinion.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson
The Measure by Nikki Erlick or The One by John Mars were both ones that I enjoyed
Ok Lolita is legit literature, and it’s incredibly, artfully written so I wouldn’t write it off.
But for some fun unreliable narrators:
The Girl on the Train, Gone Girl, Verity, The Woman in the Window all scratch the same itch as A Silent Patient.
You might like Frida McFadden
Just finished Kill For Me, Kill For You by Steve Cavanagh and think you might like it, more action than the silent patient but lots of twists and unreliable narrator stuff
Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris
If you are a dog lover though, read at your own peril. There is a horrible part of the book that I cannot get out of my head no matter how much I try. It sneaks up on me.
